Are there any alternative suppliers of wholesale clothing or wholesale apparel?

Posted by admin on November 28th, 2009 and filed under best wholesale suppliers | 3 Comments »

Few months ago I was looking for suppliers of wholesale clothing and wholesale apparel on the internet and some people suggested some LA based wholesalers. They are ok but not so satisfied with it. Are there anyone else you guys know you can recommend?

There’s a new one that I know of. Because they are just about a year old company, their prices and inventory are so much in style and in season. Check out http://www.blvapparel.com and you will see more. They also have a blog to update any buyer for what’s coming and what’s in every season.

I want to buy more than just a few things at a time, and have heard a few people mention that they know people who buy beads, etc. wholesale in Tennessee. Does anybody know of any place that sells to people who have a tax number or a federal id number?

You can buy from the suppliers in Tennessee. You can search for the suppliers of jewelry from http://www.hellotrade.com/fashion-jewelry/ and contact them online for free.

I shipped an item I sold on Ebay on my own, without using their shipping labels. Now what?

Posted by admin on November 28th, 2009 and filed under shipping labels | 3 Comments »

In my summary on Ebay it still shows that I haven’t shipped the item. How do I clarify that I have shipped it?

I believe you should be able to click "mark as shipped" on the item summary. I’ve never used ebay’s labels either.

any idea how i can add digital post it notes to word documents that can be read on other computers?

Posted by admin on November 28th, 2009 and filed under post it notes | 3 Comments »

I am adding comments to students work in eportfolios and need to write comments for their reference that they can read and consider and then erase.

It’s not quite Post-It® Notes, but Word has a built-in commenting feature under Track Changes. Try this:

In Word versions prior to Word 2007 (Vista):

1.Right-click in the menu area and select the Reviewing toolbar.
2. Click where you want to add a comment.
3. On the Reviewing toolbar click the third button from the right to add the comment.

In Word 2007:

1.Click the Review tab on the Ribbon.
2.Position the cursor where you want the new comment to go.
3. Click the New Comment button

That should do it.

What are some good ways to save while scrapbooking?

Posted by admin on November 28th, 2009 and filed under scrapbooking | 5 Comments »

The costs for scrapbooking can really add up. What are some ways to save?

There are two variants.

1. You can go into digital scrapooking. Though there has been a recent discussion on whether digital scrapbooking is really cheaper (it was about cost of 12×12 printing)

2. You can try so called "printables". These are digital images that you can print out and use in your paper scrapbooks.
If you have color printer at home, this might be a good solution.

how do i print return address on envelope flap?

Posted by admin on November 28th, 2009 and filed under address lables | 2 Comments »

i tried using microsoft words (envelopes/lables) but the return address is not being centered as i want it to be. can someone help?

Try this (with Word XP (2002) and adjacent versions. Word Vista (2007) probably has something similar):

1. Click the Tools->Letters and Mailings->Envelopes and labels menu item.
2. Click the Envelope tab.
3. Click the Options button.
4. On the Envelope tab, select the envelope size in the Envelope Size list box.
5. Adjust the Return Address From Left and From Top text boxes to position the address where you want it. Note that the preview image should change along with your positioning.
6. Click OK.

Print it. Printing on a scrap sheet of paper can prevent wasting envelopes until you get it right.

Hope that helps.
