Anyone know of good wholesale suppliers for a flea market type of business.?

Looking to start a buy and sell type of business by being set up at events. Not actually sure what type of goods yet, hoping to get ideas if I can find suppliers. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks ahead of time.

Ohio vendors licence for purchasing craft supplies wholesale.?

Iam told I need an Ohio vendors licence to purchase craft supplies wholesale. the craft mall where the crafts are sold collects and pays the sales tax on my finished crafts. Will this cause problems with Ohio tax department?

You can file for a vendor’s license with your county auditor.

You will want to find out if the mall pays the Ohio tax department on your sales. If not, you will have to file them on personal property taxes using your vendor’s license number.

Do most large architectural firms accept bids for kitchen/bath product? Or do they do it all on their own?

I am a kitchen designer in Boston and there is a project going on in town that I would love to participate in. I am afraid I don’t know much about how large architectural firms work. Obviously they create the floor plans for the project, head the construction of it and have designers on staff. But do they accept bids for things like a kitchen? Even if the kitchen design is already done by them, do they usually go to an outside source to get the product? Do they accept bids on the project? The website for this particular company doesn’t say much about how they operate. I figured before I contact them and ask, I’d check here and see what you all have to say

Depending on the type of contract that the owner has with the architect firm, the firm may be in complete control of the building project. Normally the actual construction work is contracted out to a builder or general contractor who manages the project and takes bids from sub-contractors. These sub-contractors normally supply the labor and material to perform their specialized area of construction. You need to find out who the builder is. He will likely already have his own suppliers, but it never hurts to ask. The architect would be the place to start, since they are the ones that write the specifications into the building plans. If you can sell them your product to be specified, then the builder will have no choice but to get bids on your product or an equal one.

i was wondering where i can get digital notes–because for digital post it notes, it is only a trial version and lasts for only 30 days. and for hott notes, i heard they can give your computer a virus. so does anyone know where i can download free digital notes?

Can anyone suggest any creative, radical and fun ways to get business cards in a retail business show?

I am trying to put up a booth in a business retail show in two weeks and I was wondering if anyone has a really unique and mind-blowing idea to attract clients to my booth and give their business cards. Any suggestions will be entertained. Thanks;-)

yes. place an aquarium with piranhas and a sign "Do not feed the Piranhas" and put the business cards next to the aquarium.

How do I scrapbook without it looking like scrapbooking?

I want to archive my track and field mementos—articles, ribbons, medals, etc. I hate the look, feel, and kitschy look of scrapbooking, but I want these pieces archived in a nice way. Any suggestions?

You should choose a scrapbook you like that is not too "froo-froo" and then get a package of that background paper (or buy ones you like separately.) Put all your stuff in the album and just label with a pen or nice marker what all the stuff is or whatever it is you want to say about the page. It is really only a scrapbook if you put like scraps of things and label the items with things such as: "a tissue that Grandpa used at Grandma’s funeral." or anything like that….

For my mom’s birthday last year, I made a scrapbook for her, but it was just photographs arranged in a nice way with pretty background paper and A FEW stickers on eack page. it looks really nice. It is not overdone and there is no texture or anything like that. It is a colorful, nice way to remember things that happened or that you participated in such as your track.

dont over or underdo yourself. make it so that it expresses who you are because that is ehat scrapbooking is all about. If you just throw pictures in a book, then years later when you look back at it, you are going to wish that it had more personality to it.

Are you sure you’re putting it in right? AT&T sim cards are universal. I would take it to the store and have them see if they can fit it in there. It might be because the 8800 does not support the 3G network.

What program should I make address labels on?

I have Microsoft Word, Works, Excel, etc., all the typical things, and I don’t want to have to buy any software for this. Even though I’ve never had any reason to put an address database into a computer and print out lables, I presume there’s already something in there that’s good (and easy) to do this on. Advice, please? Thanks!

best bet is to build your database in excell and then when you get ready to do the labels you use mail merge in word. Also if you buy Avery labels – they often will have a cd in the package that can also assist you in creating the labels.
