I’m trying to open a baby’s resale store….?

My resale store will not only se gently used toys and clothes but I want to sell new items such as sippy cups, bottles, pacifiers, maternity belts, baby lotion & soaps,teething supplies, baby laundry detergent, pregnancy cocoa butters, diapers, wipes and so forth.

I am presently writing out my business plan and applying for my licenses to open the store but I have been search all day and night for vendors and wholesale suppliers for products like Nuby, Gerber, Palmer’s, Dreft, Johnson & Johnson, Pampers and others like those.

Does anyone know of a website or any contact info where I can set up a wholesale order for my store? Please help!

Also, Does anyone have any name Ideas for my Store? It’s a resale store that sells newborn – 5T clothing (Gently used) also gently used baby items such as swings bouncers and high chairs, etc… It also will be selling those brand new items that i mentioned earlier. That’s for all your help….

First thing I would do would google different words like wholesale baby. Then the different products you are interested in carrying. Just play around in google for awhile. Write stuff down or save it because you will not remember where you saw it.

You can also go to ebay. They have a section where you can request what you are looking for….or you can search there under wholesale. You might request ‘gently used bulk baby clothes’ and tell people you will buy up stock. Just a thought. There are a lot of yard sales with baby stuff too.

Google is your best bet though for wholesale searching. That is how I found my products. Sometimes you can not do it in one setting. Sometimes when you search another day you get some new results.

Where can i get creative and "different" business cards printed?

I’m looking for business cards that will stand out. I really don’t want UV gloss, since im trying to still convey a professional image. Any good sites/companies that will do innovative business cards?? Thanks!

i really know about this crazy subject. find an example you like and do not reinvent the wheel. check with somebody like office depot or a higher priced outfit for some bids. understated elegence is what i always seek. clean and simple with good card stock. keep price down because you are likely to have to change a phone no. etc. lots of little tricks but work on your sales not become an art director who does cards. stay far away from art directors. too expensive and dishonest. printers are dishonest once you get to the larger companies. small business? keep it simple to start with and i just got some for free samples on the web. not bad, try that. terrific cards will never make your business live or die. that is a potential major distraction. hell, use avery stuff if necessary in your home color printer ($100) a print job could be five times that.

Are there any disadvantages of owning 2 border collies as opposed to 1?? your commets would be appreciated.?

I have a 11 month old border collie dog and plan to buy a 3year old BC bitch. I am worried a) about the food bill and b) the disruption to my current dogs routine. Has anyone got two already?
I would like to get a companion for my current dog.
I have been informed that the best quality food for cost effectiveness is buying direct from a farmers wholesale suppliers as opposed to high cost domestic brands i.e hills science plan and pedigree chum.
Any other information you think would be benificial to me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Andy Warnock

Sorry but it doesn’t sound to me like you should get another dog, especially another border collie.

It sounds to me like you are wanting another dog because you don’t spend enough time with the one you already have.

That is one of the worst reasons to buy a second dog.

Also, you are worried about money? Pets deserve owners who can provide them with everything they do and might ever need for the rest of their lives.

I know a few people who "love" their pets and therefore overlook the fact that the conditions they keep them in are less than suitable.

I think that is it good for high energy dogs like border collies to have a play partner BUT you situation sounds far from suitable.

Your border collie will be no better off with a companion if you are not meeting its basic needs for human companionship and exercise and stimulation.

i heard this was true, and i wanted to know if it was real or fake.

Yes…it is dependant upon the length (time) of exposure…even a fridge magnet will do it if it is rubbed over the surface long enough.

Where can I find cat address lables that may have been distontinued?

Is there a way to locate them online?
