how do i print return address on envelope flap?

Posted by admin on November 28th, 2009 and filed under address lables | 2 Comments »

i tried using microsoft words (envelopes/lables) but the return address is not being centered as i want it to be. can someone help?

Try this (with Word XP (2002) and adjacent versions. Word Vista (2007) probably has something similar):

1. Click the Tools->Letters and Mailings->Envelopes and labels menu item.
2. Click the Envelope tab.
3. Click the Options button.
4. On the Envelope tab, select the envelope size in the Envelope Size list box.
5. Adjust the Return Address From Left and From Top text boxes to position the address where you want it. Note that the preview image should change along with your positioning.
6. Click OK.

Print it. Printing on a scrap sheet of paper can prevent wasting envelopes until you get it right.

Hope that helps.

You’re just making extra work for yourself.

Print the Return address in the top left corner (Word Default) on the front of the envelope, like most companies do.
