How to create a cheap and creative business cards with little spending time?
I only have a MS word, power point, and GIMP 2, 6, 8. Can I use any one of this software to create simple cookies business cards and print it from home printer.
Please help with detail following steps. Thanks
MS Word is all you need. You can download templates from the Microsoft office template site. Use the template to make the business cards. If you want to spend some time, you can change the graphics and fonts.

If you don’t want to spend much time, I guess it won’t look to good.
Just open your program, set the document size you require, add some text/images and press CTRL+P to print it.

What is the most cost effective way to print good quality business cards at home?
I design websites for people, and would like to offer Business Card printing as a little additional service. I’m looking for a cost effective way to print high quality Business Cards. I don’t mind paying out for a bit of printing kit if it’s pretty reasonably priced. I’ll obviously also need some software. I’m assuming I could just design the cards in Photoshop.
Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
It’s more the hardware I need advice on.
If you already own Photoshop and don’t want to spend money on additional software, then yes, you can set up your business cards in Photoshop.
InDesign however, would make your life a lot easier – it’s included in several of the CS bundles – so if you use other Adobe software you may even already own it.
You will be able to combine text and graphics much more easily, add trim marks etc. in exact x/y co-ordinates and also be able to accurately step and repeat your cards so you can print a full sheet of them without wastage.
Additional Info
OK, all you really need in that case is a decent quality colour laserprinter. Personal favourites are Xerox and Epson. Probably the most important feature to you will be its ability to handle various heavy-weight stocks as your focus will be on cards.

How do I get stock images for business cards?
I want to design business cards templates to sell (for clients, Zazzle, and other places). Now, I see a lot of websites that offer stock images, but I don’t know if I can use them since I plan to sell the business card template, not use it for myself.
Am I allowed to do this? If not, can someone please instruct me on how to get stock images for this purpose? Thank you.
I don’t know anything about stock images, but you can try some Public Domain images which are free to use, even commercially. Here are a couple of sites from which I get images: http://www.openclipart.org and http://www.clker.com
