What is the most cost effective way to print good quality business cards at home?

I design websites for people, and would like to offer Business Card printing as a little additional service. I’m looking for a cost effective way to print high quality Business Cards. I don’t mind paying out for a bit of printing kit if it’s pretty reasonably priced. I’ll obviously also need some software. I’m assuming I could just design the cards in Photoshop.

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

I would recommend focusing on the logo or collaterals design business rather than the printing. A quick printer can do 100 qty cards for $20 and the quality would be better than what you can provide in-house (ie: see Office Depot link). Instead of providing printing services in-house, find a good quick printer to partner with and focus on your design services. And if you find a good printer to partner with, they may start referring design work to you!

How can I print my own business cards?

I have a program that prints 10 business-size cards on a standard size paper. Regular paper isn’t durable enough for business cards, but the weight of paper that is suitable won’t feed through my printer.

You can purchase business card media from most any office supply store (Staples, Office Max, Office Depot, etc.) that is designed for either laser or inkjet printers that should work. Also, make sure your paper pickup/feed rollers are clean and use the manual paper feed input (if you have one) will help produce the best results.

Where can I get corrugated cardboard business cards made?

I am looking to get new business cards made, and I want them to be made of corrugated cardboard, recycled if possible too. I want them to be sturdier than a normal business card, and have the look for eco-friendly.

well ,i have not seen any printing shops that they carry corrugated cardboard paper for the business cards but you can buy the paper and print them there is a website www.psprint.com you can always place you request
