can shipping labels be printed out in the post office in usa?

The USPS does not print shipping labels for you. You must print them yourself.

Im trying to trade in some things with amazon but it says print shipping label.Is this necessary or can I use my own shipping labels?Thanks in advance for helping me

It is required that you print out the shipping label Amazon gives you because it has a bar code for tracking, order numbers, and other needed information for the customer and the shippers.

When you print the shipping label out from Amazon, it is possible to print it out on regular paper and tape it onto your package, but you have to be extremely careful about where you put the tape so that it doesn’t interfere with the bar code. It’s mostly about Click-n-Ship with USPS, but the same principles apply for all shipping labels.

Alternatively, you could print the shipping label out on a shipping label sheet and then just peel and place your label so you don’t have to worry about the bar code. I am shipping an eBay item to Israel. I have shipped to Israel, many times, and the address the buyer supplies is always in English. This time the address the buyer supplied is in Hebrew, and I am not sure whether, I should keep it like that or translate it on the label. If I do not translate it how will the USPS understand it? The only requirement of the USPS is that the country be written in English.

I am an Ebay seller and just bought some adhesive shipping labels to save time with my shipping. But every timer I try to print they jam in my printer. I need an upgrade at printer and would like some suggestions for economical printers that are good with printing adhesive shipping labels.

I am starting a business and need shipping labels so, I need to know how to make my own shipping labels or what do I need in order to make them right now I do not want to pay someone else to make them so I’m looking to do them myself?

If you have MS Word, there are templates to do that. You order an Avery label stock, pull up the template, create the label and print.

hi, i’m about to sell an item on ebay and im curious about printing shipping labels from ebay. do you need a special printer or do you need to download some special program? also, how do i put the shipping label on the box? do i just tape it on?

No you can just print them out on a normal printer and then either glue or tape the label to the parcel.

Depending on the postal system of your Country you may need to know the exact size and weight of the parcel before you can buy a shipping label. In the UK it’s a pretty useless feature so what I do is click on the "order details" link and then copy & paste the address and print it out, then I take it the post office and buy stamps as usual.

I don’t really understand what shipping labels are or how they work. The reason I ask is someone told me if a customer ships me a package and includes and extra shipping label I could send it back to them for free. What does this mean and how does it work?

The customer can use a regular shipping label on which he puts his account number on it so that his account gets billed. Another way is used by companies that have shipping from somebody else back to them billed to the company account. UPS and Fedex will pre-print labels with the company’s address as the "to" address. Also, many companies use the on-line systems to print labels on regular paper that goes into a shipping envelope.

Every shipping label has a unique tracking number on it. This number helps route the package to the proper destination and lets the shipping companies verify that the proper shipping fees are paid.
