Yeah…”Socialism.” The ideological bigot’s Boogey Man. Its no better than the Red-baiting that “patriots” engaged in during both Red Scares and during the Labor and Civil Rights Movements. In case you didn’t take notice, it was the excess greed, toxic market assets (market derivatives), and lack of regulation in Capitalism that almost destroyed the global market free market, not “Socialism” (but I’m sure you will argue otherwise). This economy collapsed on Bush’s watch….essential regulations to keep Wall St from trashing the economy were removed on Clinton’s watch and the scam was started on Reagan’s watch to shift as much money from the middle class to the ruling class. Enough with the Bush-Obama argument. Both of them got elected because of their charm and good looks, nothing else. Neither one of them had the qualifications to be the President of a Girl Scout troop. On top of that, both of them were made “an offer they couldn’t refuse” by Wall Street, and neither of them have ever had an original idea in their life. Obama is a 48 year-old college student, and the only job Bush ever had was taking baseball players out to lunch. Quit comparing which is better.
