I am doing a materials project and am having trouble finding information on specific types of paper. There are just so many types that I can’t find a comprehensive list or a list that pertains to what I need (most are arts and crafts based).

Essentially, I need to know what kind of paper post-it notes are made out of (or a similar rival self-adhesive note, doesn’t need to specifically be post-it), or at least be pointed in the right direction.

Try Office Depot, Office Max, Staples.

The USPS does not print shipping labels for you. You must print them yourself.

Microsoft word always had a program that help you set up business cards, I can find nothing like this using Microsoft office 2007. Any suggestions would help. Even if any one can tell me a different program that does business cards free. I downloaded business cards mx but they put a water mark on the finished card.

You can still use Microsoft word for that but you may have hard time adjusting the column size or determining the right spacing. Edit page size, remove borders and margins, and adjust columns.
The free stuff is what you get, not so good.
Another option is google search free business cards. Some companies out there will get you color cards for the price of delivery (maybe $5 at the most).

No way. You’ll never compete with Vistaprint, Staples, etc. .20 each is WAY too high.

[...]

Im trying to trade in some things with amazon but it says print shipping label. Is this necessary or can I use my own shipping labels? Thanks in advance for helping me

It is required that you print out the shipping label Amazon gives you because it has a bar code for tracking, order numbers, and other needed information for the customer and the shippers.

When you print the shipping label out from Amazon, it is possible to print it out on regular paper and tape it onto your package, but you have to be extremely careful about where you put the tape so that it doesn’t interfere with the bar code. We’ve got a short blog post about that here: http://info.pcforms.com/diy-printing-blog/bid/26211/why-can-t-i-tape-over-the-barcode-on-my-usps-shipping-label

It’s mostly about Click-n-Ship with USPS, but the same principles apply for all shipping labels.

Alternatively, you could print the shipping label out on a shipping label sheet and then just peel and place your label so you don’t have to worry about the bar code. Here’s an information page we have about Amazon shipping labels that includes links to some of our products that would work well for Amazon shipping label sheets: http://pcforms.com/shipping-labels-for-amazon//

Good luck!

I am shipping an eBay item to Israel. I have shipped to Israel, many times, and the address the buyer supplies is always in English. This time the address the buyer supplied is in Hebrew, and I am not sure whether, I should keep it like that or translate it on the label. If I do not translate it how will the USPS understand it? Thanks!
Ok, the buyer did provide the country in English, but that was the only thing. Thanks!

The only requirement of the USPS is that the country be written in English.

I am an Ebay seller and just bought some adhesive shipping labels to save time with my shipping. But every timer I try to print they jam in my printer. I need an upgrade at printer and would like some suggestions for economical printers that are good with printing adhesive shipping labels.
Thanks in advance!

If you’re using a laser printer, this can happen easily since laser printers can get rather hot. We have a tool to help you pick what kind of paper would best run through your printer. You don’t have to go out to buy a whole new printer. (=

If you’d like, you can check out our DIY Printing blog for more printing tips: http://info.pcforms.com/DIY-Printing-blog

Also, on the right side of the blog is a form you can fill out to ask us a question that might appear in our blog!

How can I Reduce the Size of Shipping Labels to save ink?
The shipping labels are supposed to be 4×6 inches, but I’ve been told by sellers on both ebay and amazon to reduce the size of the shipping labels to save on ink.How can I reduce the size using Firefox as a browser?

While on the Web using Firefox Browser, look up to the top left page. You should see the orange tab with the word Firefox.Click on the tab, then go down to PRINT, set cursor over the word and a side bar opens.Click on the words PRINT PREVIEW.Look on the middle top bar for the word SCALE,there should be a number with a percentage next to it.Change the number to 70 or 70%…..60 % is too small for the postal service. You can scroll to the bottom and select CUSTOM.Then type in 65%.
If you use Internet Explorer, look for an empty space on the web page.RIGHT click on it, then a huge tab will show up.Look for PRINT PREVIEW, click on it.Look on the middle top bar for the word SCALE,there should be a number with a percentage next to it.Change the number to 70 or 70%…..60 % is too small for the postal service. You can scroll to the bottom and select CUSTOM.Then type in 65%.This works!
