Ok after answering a question recently on roses and quality street i fancied buying a tin… question is has any one else found it a problem finding the tins of Roses in supermarkets? All tescos and sainsburys have the deals of 2 for £9 but only ever seem to have the quality street or celebrations. Ive been to 8 supermarkets now and none have any.. I refuse to buy the tins from places like woolworths or little shops as they charge like £7 for one tin! Well anyway i bought a tin of quality Street and what a load of shite!! The tin advertises "2 new chocs". Well one is simply a block of milk chocolate!! OOO the thought and imagination gone into that is pathetic! No coffee ones, no toffee nut ones. Absolute shite! I hope Roses havent changed too much also, when i actually find a tin!!
ok it was a bit of a rant i admit.. just got fed up with driving to 3 different towns to find some roses! And im annoyed that the quality street i bought as a substitute is shite! Anyway ill get off my soapbox now….
As a Chocoholic I completely understand your frustration!! I’ve had the same problem as I prefer Roses best. I actually did get a tin from Woolies where I live but they were £5.99. They don’t seem to be doing any deals for 2 anywhere apart from Quality Street or Celebrations. I bit the bullet and paid the £6 for the Roses and also bought a couple of boxes. They’re doing 2 big boxes for £4 in Tescos so yes I’ve spent a tenner but ended up with nearly 2.5 kilos of chocs.
last year they were selling Roses chocs in a 2.5 kilo tin for £7 or £8 which was really good so don’t know what’s going on this year!!
The only good that’s come out of it is that I bought the two other tins you can get for £9 which I thought a very suitable amount to spend (if not slightly expensive!!) for a couple of relatives who are very tight themselves!!!! (V & M)

If one were to open a retail clothing business, what is the best place to find wholesale suppliers of merchandise and begin setting up accounts? Anyone experienced in the clothing industry with tips?
Obviously, one would find trade shows and the like in order to sign up vendors. I’m looking for something a little more secific say to the men’s clothing sector.

Im doing a project for school and we have to do specs on various foods on a menu of a resturaunt. Im looking for an example of "specs" so i have one to work off of.
Go to Chevrolet .com on the left you see cars trucks etc… click on anything, trucks for example. Then click on Avalanche. Then a little to the right you click on Standard and optional . Then a little lower you see a tab that says specifications. Then you can choose Fuel economy, dimensions, capacities, etc…. and there you have it. Hope it helps
yellow post-it notes as attracters for fungus gnats?
I have a very moist house by default. I have these horrible fungus gnats that hover around my plants. I heard that if I somehow plant yelllow stickies in or around the plant, they will attract the fungus gnats and get stuck. Is this true? I’ve tried expensive chemicals ,but they just won’t go away.
Use fly paper and put a small layer of horticultural sand on top of your soil. The sand acts like broken glass to their bodies when they try to bury themselves in your soil.
