Can I sue the makers of Post-It notes?

I don’t have a sun visor in my car, so I stuck some Post-It notes on my eyelids to block the sun while I was driving. Unfortunately, this inhibited my ability to see and I struck a mailbox, causing damage to my vehicle.

Shouldn’t the manufacturer pay for my damages? The accident wouldn’t have occurred if not for the Post-It notes.

Absolutely. There should definitely be a warning to people without visors not to stick them on their eyelids. They are exercising extreme negligence by not having researched this problem themselves.
While you are at it you may want to look into suing the mailbox owner too. It wasn’t your fault their mailbox was in your path.
