Will post it notes take paint off the walls of my house.?
I see people put up post it notes on their walls and i have smoothe non textured walls so it is very easy to stick the post its on but i want to know if i leave them there for to long if they will take paint off when i pull them off the wall because i rent and i dont want to have to pay to have it repainted.

Post it notes will not remove the paint but anything that is hung on your wall over time will protect that spot from fading and the remainder of the wall will fade leaving a darker spot where a picture or in this case a post it note was hung. Just do not leave the post it note up for long or in the same place to avoid this problem. It would have to be up for months in the same spot to cause darker spots. (smile)
