Do I need to purchase shipping labels off paypal if I’m selling an item on Ebay?
This is starting to really piss me off, because it tells me to print the shipping label, but they charge me an extra 5 dollars that what it really costs at USPS. There is an address that I could just take and ship it myself, but if i do that, they could claim they never received the package. Also why the heck does a letter with a stamp cost 5 freaking bucks?
It’s an option they provide just in case you want it. If you don’t need it, don’t use it.
For example, the "Print shipping label" option shows up on all of my sales, even though they are digital products and don’t need to be shipped. I just ignore it. You can do the same.

I sold on ebay for 3 years and never once printed the label off of paypal. I shipped usps or when necessary ups, and no one ever claimed they didn’t get their package. However, if you wanna cover yourself, just purchase a tracking number… it’s really cheap… and then that way you can track it’s rout there and when it was received. Once you mark your item "shipped" on ebay, it’ll automatically take away the "print shipping label" option on your paypal. Just make sure the address you’re sending it to is a confirmed or okayed address on both ebay and paypal.

They do charge a fee for the service and not the postage –
You need to look at your detail sheet on Pay Pal to find out
what that much is for – the fee should not be that high. Go
directly to pay pal and ask them why this high charge is
being made
