I have a PIXMA MP150 Scanner/printer, Windows xp pro. The printer prints fine.
I’m trying to print shipping labels with usps, ups, and this window pops up from the sharpdesk composer – don’t know what that is – with this error message:
Failed to get the Image Data. Out of Memory of System Disk place.
Please, if someone could give me a hand here I would greatly appreciate it. I’m at work now, got like twenty packages gotta ship and i’m stuck.
It’s a little late to help you out with the problem you had for that day, but it sounds like the issue is that your computer is basically out of disk and memory space needed to acquire and print the image data for the label. You need to check your hard drive disk space usage and see what you have available as Free space (double click on your My Computer icon on your desktop). If it’s only a few megabytes or less, then you’ve basically run out of hard drive space. You’ll need to either get a larger hard drive, add another hard drive to your system and move some data from the full drive to the new one, or delete some old files, programs, etc., from your existing drive to make room for the programs to use as needed.
One great place to delete unnecessary files from is your computer’s Recycle Bin. This is where the computer stores "deleted", but not really deleted since they’re still stored there, files just in case you ever wanted to recover them. You can right click on the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop and select "Empty Recycle Bin". This will delete all those old files and free up precious disk space on your hard drive for use. You should still go through and delete any other old files & programs you no longer need. This would also be a good time after all this cleaning up to defragment your drive as well.
Best of luck.
